Lloyds Living Stories – Josh and Dana’s Experience

Josh and Dana, a young couple with two little boys, had been living in a Lloyds Living home for some time when they realised that they needed more space. With a growing family and Dana starting her studies, they decided it was time to move to a larger home. Rather than looking elsewhere, they chose to remain within the same Lloyds Living development, a place that had already begun to feel like home. 

Their new four-bedroom house offered the extra space they needed, with Dana excited to have a dedicated office for her nursing studies, and the family looking forward to having more room for their children. Even better, Josh’s parents moved into their old home, keeping the family close and all within the same neighbourhood. 

The move has been quite smooth,” Dana shared. “We just needed more space for our growing family – plus an office as I’m studying to be a nurse.” 

One of the main reasons Josh and Dana decided to stay with Lloyds Living was the strong relationship they had built with the team. From resolving issues with the home to keeping communication, the Lloyds Living team had been quick to respond to any concerns. “It’s not like you’re talking to people in an office. It’s like you are talking to your friends,” Dana said. “They always come round, explain things, and follow up with an email just to make it a bit more personal.” 

Josh agreed, adding, “We’ve had landlords where you tell them a problem and they say, ‘Yeah, we’ll get it sorted,’ but then nothing’s done. Whereas Lloyds Living actually do get it sorted. We even got the keys a few days early at no extra charge.” 

Across both their homes, Josh and Dana have worked closely with Joseph, Property Manager at Lloyds Living. “It’s been really good,” Josh shared. “Every time we’ve knocked on the door and asked, ‘Do you mind popping round?’ he’s always said, ‘Just give me two minutes,’ and come straight over.” 

Joseph commented, “Customers like Josh and Dana make my job a pleasure. I’ve really enjoyed supporting them through it.” 

Since moving in, Josh and Dana have enjoyed the peace and quiet of their new home, noting how the location provides a more relaxed atmosphere but is still close to everything they need. “Although we’ve only moved around the corner, our new house is a lot better for us. It’s more relaxed,” Josh said. 

Now, with both their family and Josh’s parents happily settled into their homes, Josh and Dana couldn’t be more pleased with their decision to stay with Lloyds Living. “They really do look after us,” Dana said. “They go above and beyond for what we need.”
